New Menu at Gin Palace

Strand Palace is excited to announce the launch of a new cocktail menu at the Gin Palace. Launching on Friday, June 21, 2024, the new menu has been the product of vast research into the archives of Strand Palace from as far back as 1676. 

The menu is divided into three chapters that highlight the evolution of Strand Palace's location; from where Exeter Exchange and Exeter Hall once stood, to its evolution from 1909 as an iconic accommodation provider to one of London's leading independent hotels in 2024.

From escaped baboons to crazed killers, sip your way through fascinating chapters of our history from the 17th-century to modern day.

Kraken Spiced Rum, Banana Syrup, Pineapple & Ginger Shrub, Lime, Pineapple Juice and Banana Chips

Inspired by the menagerie and its famous collection of exotic animals, including a baboon that broke out and caused havoc amongst the animals.

Actor's Muse £15

Woodford Reserve Whiskey, Coffee Liqueur, Vanilla Syrup and Orange Bitters

Inspired by the cultural luminaries that have walked our hallways, including Charlie Chaplin, Vivien Leigh and valiant American war veterans.

The Missing Evidence £16

Ciroc Apple Vodka, Ciroc Vodka, Raspberry Syrup, Elderflower Cordial and Cranberry Juice

Inspired by the attempted murder which was prevented when Strand Palace stafff were allerted to the screms of a young woman.

The Oliver Bernard £15

Dead Man Coconut Rum, Wray & Nephew Rum, Pineapple & Ginger Shrub, Pineapple Juice, Lime Juice and Coconut Syrup

Inspired by the British architect who created our iconic Art Deco design in the 1930s, much of which is now housed in the V&A Museum.

The Winter Garden (Non-Alcoholic) £12

Lavender Syrup, Seedlip Spiced and Rhubarb Lemonade

Inspired by one of the original restaurants at the hotel, decorated by a large glass sky dome decorated lavender on the tables.
